Archaeology is the study of the human past using material remains. These remains can be any objects that people created, modified, or used.
Excavations at Bremenium Fort, the northernmost fort along Hadrianâs Wall in England, revealed a host of Roman artifacts. A wide variety of pottery, metalwork, soldiersâ tools, and more shed some light on what daily life was like at the fort.
